Caplin to present case study at NATAS

Caplin to present a case study at Waters Technology's North American Trading Architecture Summit, April 27, New York

Many of the industry trade shows in our sector are run for the sell-side to sell things to the buy-side. So the majority of the delegates tend to be buy-side traders who end up using our software, but don't actually purchase it.

So for several years Caplin has chosen not to attend tradeshows. But we noticed recently that the forthcoming Waters Technology event, the North American Trading Architecture Summit (NATAS) was different - it's offering two conference streams aimed at both buy-side and sell-side delegates. So we decided we'd get involved and sponsor this event.

close up photo of Patrick MylesPatrick Myles, Caplin's CTO (right), will be presenting a case study in the "Infrastructure Management: Reducing Costs, Improving Performance" stream. Pat's case study is entitled, "Building a Multi-Asset e-Commerce Infrastructure". He is going to cover:

  • Delivering a consistent client experience, while leverage disparate existing systems yet allow evolution, replacement and consolidation with minimal disruption
  • Rapidly rolling-out front-ends to clients
  • Using and improving existing enterprise infrastructure
  • Keeping flexibility to consolidate systems and reduce costs

He will be using real examples from one of Caplin's single-dealer platform customers. This promises to be a fascinating presentation. If you'd like to attend, either register for the event at www.waterstechnology.com/natas, or contact us for one of the free delegate tickets we have available. We also plan to give away a very useful and interesting document to those who attend Pat's presentation. We'll let you know more about that nearer the date.

The tradeshow is being held on April 27th, at the Westin New York at Times Square, 270 West 43rd Street, NY 10036. It commences with the keynote presentation at 9:00am and Pat's case study presentation is scheduled for 11:05am; the day wraps up with a cocktail reception at 5:25pm.
