Caplin's initial business was building high-performance, low-latency systems for distributing market data (instrument prices) in real-time. Caplin Liberator was built to meet that requirement. All of Caplin's subsequent technology development has carried forward our experience and expertise in optimising our systems to make them highly performant and scalable.
Caplin now offers two primary products, built using this expertise, that are designed to assist financial firms build trading applications that work over the Internet in real time.
Caplin's Products
- Caplin Xaqua - Caplin's server-side framework for building high-performance trading applications quickly and easily. Caplin Xaqua supports different client applications built with a wide variety of technologies including HTML5, Java, .NET, Flex and Silverlight.
- Caplin Trader - Caplin's HTML5-compliant native Web application framework for creating browser-based trading client applications that require no add-ins
