public interface BlotterMessage

A message that will be sent on a BlotterChannel to a particular users blotter.

A BlotterMessage instance is created using BlotterChannel.createBlotterMessage(), has fields added to it using the addField(String, String) method and is sent using BlotterChannel.sendBlotterMessage(BlotterMessage).

Deprecated: Use the new Blotter API (com.caplin.datasource.blotter).

value - The value to set the field to.

getField

Deprecated.

Gets a field from the blotter message.

Parameters:

fieldName - The name of the field.

Returns:

The value of the named field.

getFields

java.util.Map<java.lang.String,java.lang.String> getFields()

Deprecated.

Gets a map of all the fields.

Returns:

A map containing all the fields.
